Six Months? Wow, it goes fast!!!

So MaKenna turns six months and is progressing so fast. She has two bottom teeth now and is crawling (or attemping to crawl), it is more like a drag yourself with your arms. But she gets herself across the room pretty fast when she wants to. Especially when the remote is on the floor.

Becuase Christmas is right around the corner, of course I was already trying to pose her for Christmas photos and here are a few... I'm sure there will be many more to come.

First Thanksgiving with MaKenna

This Thanksgiving was a special one for us. Obviously we have a lot to be thankful for this year. We were able to spend the Holiday with family and ate lots of great food!

MaKenna is 3 Months Old!!!

3 Months old and on the very day that she turned three months, she rolled over. I can't believe it. I laid her down in her crib and I was doing my makeup in the other room, but when I went back to get her... she was on her STOMACH!!!

Augie's 80th Birthday Party

We celebrated Great Grandpa Augie's 80th Birthday Party. MaKeanna got to meet more of her extended family. Below she is wearing a head band with Augie's childhood picture on it. Above Mary and Jason get MaKenna to smile! She is growing up so fast and she is approaching 3 months old.

MaKenna's Baby Blessing

MaKenna was given a beautiful baby blessing by her father on August 20th, 2006. Many family members we able to attend and it was a very special moment for all of us. Her baby blessing dress was made by Richie's grandma and Richie's sister also wore the dress during her baby blessing!

First Trip to the Coast

We took MaKenna to the Coast for the first time since it has been so hot in Salem. She really seemed to enjoy the fresh air and was very alert the whole time. During the car ride we also finally captured her beautiful smile on camera!! So I can't help but post them...

SIX WEEK UPDATE

MaKenna is already six weeks old. Time is going by very fast. We just got home from Utah where we were visiting Richie's Family and MaKenna went to her first Hardball Roller Hockey National Tournament! We had lots of fun. MaKenna did really well on the long 13 hour drive. She slept most of the time and woke up for feedings at our gas stops. Just before we left on the trip MaKenna started to smile at us and interact with us. Which is so much fun!!! She is so cute how she coos and giggles. Richie is really enjoying the way she is begining to interact with him. One morning I was dancing around her room with her and that was the first time that she started smiling at me. It was such a special moment, I'll never forget! This morning I took some video recording of her as she laid in her crib looking up at her mobile. She was just so content smiling and in awe of the moving, musical stimulation. Her mobile has different animals on it and she really loves it. I have gone back to work and my mom along with Richie's mom and family are watching her a few days a week. I am also able to take her to work with me, which is such a blessing. Although I don't get as much done when she is there. All the women that I work with adore her and love having her there. We have pack n play there that also has a musical mobile and she loves that one too! Comming up in a week I am taking more time off to be able to go to Triangle Lake with my family for a couple of weeks. That should be fun and hopefully I'll take lots of pictures to update the blog page. I didn't take very many in Utah, but I should have. Her cousins were so cute with her especially little Noah (14 mos old) who loved to hug her (and steal her passifire).
