The girls and Ayla after running in the Awesome 300 race
MaKenna and her tree another year older. This tree was given to us by my Grandpa Augie when MaKenna was born, so I have to get a picture of her by it when it is in bloom each year.
Lainey having fun and growing way too fast
One day she put on Ella's goggles and wore them all over the house #silly
Beauty!
MaKenna's 7th Birthday at Enchanted Forest
She's too mature / grown up for this ride, but don't worry she rode the big kid rides too for the first time... and she LOVED them (thank goodness).
Lainey started walking just before she turned 1
In our 1 year birthday tradition, Lainey went for the ball! Guess she is predicted to be the athlete. "Ball" was her first word too. Followed closely by "Ella"
Great Grandpa Augie
On our way to Rolley Hockey Nationals in Alburquerque, NM... we visted Arches National Park. Absolutely breath taking. We will need to go back there an spend more time there for sure.
MaKenna and I hiked up to this arch and stood underneath it and when we turned around we saw the view in the next picture.
Then on to Roller Hockey Nationals. The first time that the girls played in the national tournament and Ella's first time playing in a real game (she begged us to play).
Kenna and her cousin Lincoln
They played on a team with their cousins Lincoln and Noah from Utah and kids from Alaska
Oh and did I mention... They got GOLD medals!
Richie's team from Salem got 3rd place Bronze medals! And Richie made the USA team! Pretty proud of him finally trying out. It's been a dream of his to go play for the USA team! He is suposed to go play in the world's tournament in Angola in September!
Silly Ella
a creative photography assignment from an online class I'm taking
The girls have been fishing with Richie at the creek by our house. It's the simple things. I love it.
